North Katoomba residents braved an unseason
ably warm winter day to come
and experience the warm and fuzzy fun at Katoomba North Public school.
Participants were able to dye some wool, have a go at spinning and afterwards relax in the Warm Room with a snack and a drink while the children made colourful bags, learnt spool knitting and made woolly sheep.
It was a great opportunity to stock up on very stylish beanies and scarves, and to talk to Transitions Blue Mountains about ways to make our homes warmer. A photo collage made on the day shows all the participants wearing their favourite beanies.Look
out for ‘That Warm and Fuzzy Festival 2010’ next June.
